fall retreat 2025

Special Message from Pastor Owen:

"When I was in youth, I went to Gideon many times for retreats—and the impact those weekends had on me spiritually is still some of the most powerful I’ve ever experienced. I’m still in awe of what God did last November, and I’m confident He’s going to move again this year. This is something every student needs to be part of if they’re able!"

Parent information

This November—the weekend before Thanksgiving—we’re headed back to Camp Gideon for our annual Fall Retreat!

Camp Gideon is now under new management and affiliated with Malone University, which partners with our Evana Network. Because rental and lodging costs have increased, the total cost per student is $75, which includes lodging, meals, and a T-Shirt.

Food Details 🍽️

To help with meals and snacks for the weekend, we’re asking each group to bring something to share:

Boys: Bring a salty snack to share (chips, pretzels, etc.)
Middle School Girls: Bring desserts to share for the weekend
High School Girls: Bring fruit to share for the weekend
Everyone: Bring a 2-liter of pop to share

In addition, we’re looking for a few parents who would be willing to provide a crockpot of mac-n-cheese for Saturday night’s dinner. We’ll heat it up at camp and serve it to the students — this would be a huge help as we prepare food for one of the six meals that weekend!

If you’re planning to provide a crockpot of mac-n-cheese:

👉 Students whose parents provide mac-n-cheese do not need to bring any other snack or 2-liter.

Thank you so much for your help — we couldn’t make weekends like this happen without you!
